Professionally, I am a software engineer in the video games industry. I spend most of my time creating and maintaining a virtual world. We strive to make it as realistic as possible, but it is still fictional. Photography my excuse to disconnect from the virtual world and spend some time in the real one.

Photography is my creative outlet. Its about experimenting with different techniques and compositions to capture a moment in time. For landscapes and wildlife it gives me an excuse to go out and explore new locations. During events its my aimto capture the experience and stories of the people within that moment so it can be relived again and again.
