I have a deep love of live music. It allows the audience to create a world away from their normal reality and the musicians act as navigators through the shared experience. Photos can offer us windows into these brief worlds and, for those who were lucky enough to be there, relive those moments over and over again.
I have learnt over time it doesn’t matter if the music is the most uplifting pop or the most crushing heavy metal, these special worlds can be created by any audience and musical artist at any scale. I truly believe it is a form of magic.
